Linda Lilyestrom
studied fine arts at the Art Institute of Boston, followed by studies in commercial art at Los Angeles Tech. Both in California and the Worcester area, she worked in commercial art for various companies for many years. She works in oils, watercolor, pastels, and pencil, as well as photography.
Wayne Lilyestrom
started with photography in high school and increased his skills both with the camera and in the darkroom for the college newspaper while studying Wildlife Biology at UMass/Amherst. Three years with the Peace Corps in Ethiopian National Parks provided opportunity to produce several thousand slides of wildlife and other nature subjects. In addition to photography, he works in watercolor with occasional forays into charcoal and
woodcarving.
Wayne and Linda [Parker] both grew up in Spencer, but now live in Worcester.
