Scratchboard
Workshop

In this 2 1/2 hour workshop you will learn how to create a scratchboard artwork.  You will transfer a photo right onto the scratch board, so you will need a photo with a lot of texture and contrast like fur or feathers with a good light source. 

Participants should bring several 8 x 11,  1/2"  black and white clear photo copies to choose from, a strong pencil, a fine line permanent marker for touch ups, (you may want to bring colored photos of the same photo of the same subject). You may even like to bring watercolor paints if you would like to tint your artwork. 

The scratchboard and the knives will be provided.

Linda will do a quick demonstration, you can then work on your own.

She will be available to assist, throughout the workshop.
