Irena Russell has practiced her art since 8th grade when she realized she loved to draw.  After years of dabbling, art school and private lessons, Irena transitioned to teaching art in Museums and public schools. 

Today, Irena focuses on painting with watercolors, oils, acrylics and mixed media.  Experimenting with inks and collage is a newfound interest as well.

With a passion for art therapy, Irena received a degree in psychology (WSU) along with a masters in education (Anna Maria College).  She believes art is an instrument that anyone can participate in on any level to find joy.
